This dramatised documentary was filmed in Turkey during an Australia Submarine Institute expedition to determine the viability of recovering the wreckage of Australia's 2nd submarine lost in the Dardenelles, AE2.

Studio dramatic re-enactments were created of the AE2 and it's crew  surrounding the events of 1915 that saw the submarine passing undetected through the Dardenelles until they eventually were sunk by a Turkish gunship.
